Michael von Herff is the Founder and Managing Partner of PAA Advisory | Conseils, a national public affairs and strategic communications advisory firm in Canada with a global client base. In addition to leading PAA Advisory since October 2010, Michael currently serves as Senior Director and Advisory Board Member for Ethic Strategies, a joint venture with Nanos Research. Michael's previous experience includes roles as Senior Partner and Regional Director for Fleishman-Hillard, where responsibilities included leadership of Canadian offices, and Executive Vice President and Managing Director at GPC Public Affairs, overseeing a 40-person practice. Early career positions involved consulting for GPC Europe and GPC Government Policy Consultants. Michael holds a Master of Arts in History from McGill University and has completed studies at Heidelberg University as a DAAD Scholar.
