Julia Otis

Julia Otis has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations at Pacaso since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in Business, Brand, and Creative Strategy from 2016 to 2023.

Julia also has experience working with notable companies such as Sonder Inc., where they held positions as Head of Merchandising Strategy and Performance, Director of Global Operations and Strategy, and Senior Manager of Global Operations and Strategy from 2018 to 2022. Julia was also involved in Global Operations for Airbnb Plus from 2017 to 2018.

Additionally, Julia worked as the Head of Strategy and Brand at True Link, a finance-related technology company, from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant in Strategy and Innovation at The Bridgespan Group from 2012 to 2014.

Their previous work experience also includes roles as a Consultant in Brand Strategy and Innovation at NN24, a Nigerian media startup, and as a Consultant in Marketing and Operations at Refugee & Immigrant Transitions. Julia started their career as a Cabinetmaker at Sun Woodworks / Sienna Pacific and later worked as a Consultant for Human Rights Watch, focusing on West Africa.

Julia Otis holds an MBA in Strategy and Innovation from the Yale School of Management. Julia also has a BA in History of Art and Architecture from Brown University.
