Sanika Behere

Sanika Behere is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of biology and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biology at PACE - IIT and Medical since July 2025, Sanika previously held significant roles including Department Coordinator for the Institute Student Companion Programme and Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. With a solid background in research and practical experience, Sanika has contributed to projects ranging from segmentation for spinal surgeries at Jajal Medical to developing medical solutions utilizing image processing and machine learning. Sanika holds an MTech in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Bombay and a PG Diploma in Data Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, alongside a BTech in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from MIT ADT University.
