Alex Stokes

Alex Stokes is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in biological research and data science. Currently, Alex serves as the Founder of LUSH AI, an emerging company focused on artificial intelligence solutions, and as an Associate Professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Alex's roles also include being a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and contributing as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Chaminade University of Honolulu, where involvement in the MBA program emphasizes science and technology innovation. Alex co-founded Two Fox Concepts, specializing in scientific consultancy and education, and manages Makai Biotechnology, which is developing novel therapies for heart failure. As Director of the Laboratory of Experimental Medicine, Alex leads research initiatives on critical health challenges. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick and multiple degrees in biotechnology and microbiology.
