Kate Dunlop is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently employed at Pacekids since September 2014. Prior to this role, Kate gained valuable experience as a Student Occupational Therapist during fieldwork placements at Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Tanzania, Windsor Elms Village, and Alcare Place, where responsibilities included performing assessments, leading therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Kate holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Acadia University.

Pacekids Programs is a charitable organization that strives to empower children with special needs and their families through excellence in therapy and education. Operating for over 25 years and funded through Program Unit Funding (PUF) from Alberta Education, & Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD), Pacekids serves children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Speech & Language delays, and more through a variety of programs in the Calgary area. Pacekids is committed to effective financial management and recognizes the value of all contributions and donations. Programs & Services Pacekids' programs and services have all been developed to meet the needs of the children and families we serve. The expertise of our professional staff help a child reach its potential, at their own pace. Our support services begin when we start working with a child - whether a newly diagnosed infant or an older child - and extends to that child's entire support network. Children in our programs benefit from the support of an aide assigned to work specifically with them.
