Sheila Hanke is an experienced museum professional and educator with a diverse background in early childhood programming, special education, and textile conservation. Currently serving as the Director of Austin Community Programming since July 2019, Sheila has developed numerous early childhood and cultural programs for the Austin community while securing funding and fostering collaborations. Additionally, Sheila works as a substitute teacher for preschool, elementary, and special education in various schools. As CEO and Principal Conservator at Midwest Museum Services, Sheila specializes in textile conservation and has a rich history of leadership roles, including Project Lead for the Iowa Battle Flag Project and Registrar/Collections Manager at the Putnam Museum. Sheila's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in History and Social Studies, as well as numerous certifications in museum studies and related fields.

Since 1913 Pacelli Catholic Schools has been providing academic excellence that is steeped in Catholic tradition. Pacelli Catholic Schools are proud to be a college prep school with over 90% of our graduates going on to higher education. Our emphasis on academic success begins young with our preschools program and continues all the way through 12th grade. Pacelli is a small community with many opportunities for extracurricular opportunities. We boast an array of athletic activities as well as drama productions and music groups and academic enrichment sic as Spelling Bee, Geography Bee and Math Master. Most importantly, what really sets Pacelli Catholic Schools apart, is our focus on religion. Religion class is part of every students' class schedule and prayer is incorporated numerous times into students' daily lives. Students grow in faith by worshiping weekly as a school family, regularly helping to prepare and serve in Mass, and studying the sacraments. Pacelli Catholic Schools prides itself on helping to establish in our children a lifelong foundation grounded in Christ's love, faith in God, service to community, and academic achievement.
