Jane Froiland is an experienced educator and theatre professional, currently serving as the Theatre for All Teacher at Edina High School, leading a program that fosters collaboration between special education and general education students. Froiland also works as the Puppet Program Outreach Coordinator at PACER Center, developing outreach and performances focused on disabilities and bullying prevention. With a background that includes directing theatre programs at Woodbury Senior High School, delivering science education shows at the Science Museum of Minnesota, and extensive freelance teaching at various theatres, Froiland has directed youth productions and coached speech students, significantly growing programs and student involvement. Additionally, Froiland has performed in over 30 stage productions and facilitated workshops on critical social issues, showcasing a diverse and impactful career in the performing arts and education. PACER's mission is to improve educational opportunities and enhance the quality of life for children and young adults with disabilities and their families. Our vision is that children and young adults with disabilities and their families have access to resources and equitable opportunities to be successful and valued members of their community. Founded in 1977, PACER Center was created by parents of children and youth with disabilities to help other parents and families facing similar challenges. PACER is staffed primarily by parents of children with disabilities and works in coalition with other disability organizations.
