With a background that includes roles as Manager of Parent Advocacy and Training and specialist in Children's Mental Health and Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, Laura Jean has devoted 20 years to supporting children and families globally. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota, complemented by a Fund Development Certificate from the University of St. Thomas. Previous positions include Child Welfare Advocate and Policy Analyst at the University of Minnesota Medical School, and leadership roles in community organizations such as Whittier Alliance and the City of Minneapolis.
