Scotta McFarland

Scotta McFarland is a highly experienced bankruptcy attorney with over thirty years in the field, currently serving as of counsel at Pachulski Stang since January 2000. McFarland has represented a diverse range of clients, including debtors, creditors’ committees, secured creditors, trustees, lessors, lessees, equity holders, and asset purchasers in both Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings. Prior experience includes serving as counsel at Dewey Ballantine from April 1993 to January 2000 and as a partner at Thomson & Knight from May 1980 to March 1993. McFarland earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Southern Methodist University and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education from the University of North Texas.
