Elizabeth Tseng

Elizabeth Tseng, PhD, is an accomplished professional in bioinformatics and product marketing, currently serving as Associate Director of Product Marketing for Applications at Pacific Biosciences since September 2012, focusing on RNA and Gene Therapy applications. Tseng has a robust background in bioinformatics, having held positions such as Principal Scientist and Senior Staff Scientist, where contributions included the development of the Iso-Seq algorithm and collaborations in proteogenomics. Prior to Pacific Biosciences, Tseng gained experience as a research assistant at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington, working on projects related to microbial profiling and the discovery of bacterial non-coding RNAs. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Washington and a BS in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
