Jessica Mattick

Jessica Mattick is a Senior Engineer in Bioinformatics at PacBio, having joined the company in October 2021 after serving as Engineer II in the same department. Previously, Jessica worked as a Software Engineer at Safeguard Surveillance LLC and held multiple roles at Loyola University Chicago, including Laboratory Manager and Research Assistant, focusing on research related to Autophagy, HIV, Inflammation, and Parkinson's Disease. Jessica’s early experience includes work as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Research Trainee at Stockholm University, where Jessica conducted research in genomics, bioenergy, and biochemistry. Jessica’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a minor in Chemistry.
