Shambhavi Shankrit

Shambhavi Shankrit has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They began their career as a Summer Intern at the University of Allahabad in 2009. In 2010, they joined Cellworks Research India Pvt Ltd as an Associate Biomodeling Scientist and worked there until March 2012. Following this, they worked at Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Research Assistant from November 2013 to December 2014. In 2015, they joined the Institute of genomics and integrative biology (CSIR) as a Senior Research Fellow and held this position until September 2017. Most recently, Shambhavi joined Clovertex Group LLC in December 2021 as a Bioinformatics Engineer.

Shambhavi Shankrit completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University, attending from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Bioinformatics from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, studying from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Shambhavi also holds two certifications. Shambhavi completed the course "Databases and SQL for Data Science with Python" at Coursera in December 2021 and obtained the "Hands-on Introduction to Linux Commands and Shell Scripting" certification from Coursera in November 2021.
