Brian Dood has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries. Brian began their career at Tyco Electronics as a Sr. Network Engineer, where they designed and managed the WAN/LAN infrastructure and data center. Brian then moved on to Oregon Health and Science University as a Legal Intern, specializing in patent analysis and contract examination. Dood later joined Tyco Electronics again as a Systems Project Manager, leading the consolidation of business systems.
Brian then worked at Selectron Technologies as a Senior IT Project Manager, responsible for designing and implementing Interactive Voice Response systems for government agencies. Dood also taught various courses as an Adjunct Professor at Keller Graduate School of Management and Marylhurst University.
In 2015, they joined XPO Logistics as a Sr. IT Manager, overseeing integration projects and developing IT strategies. Most recently, Dood served as the Director of Information Services at Pacific Coast Fruit Company, where they played a crucial role in the success of the produce supply chain.
Brian Dood has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Willamette University College of Law, which they earned between 2007 and 2010. Their area of emphasis during their law studies was Business Law. Prior to pursuing their law degree, Brian obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Marylhurst University between 2004 and 2007, focusing on International Business. Their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology was attained from California State University, Northridge, from 1991 to 1993.
In addition to their formal education, Brian has acquired several certifications. In 2023, they completed the "Managing Jira Projects: 1 Introduction" certification from LinkedIn. The following year, in 2022, they completed three certifications from LinkedIn: "Programming Foundations: Databases," "Succeeding in Web Development: Full Stack and Front End," and "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals."
