Jennifer Chung has a diverse work experience in the real estate and construction industry. Jennifer began their career as an Assistant Superintendent/Intern at Pacific Communities Builder, Inc., where they worked on a single-family, master-planned community. Jennifer then interned at EDAW, researching and analyzing sustainability practices and projects. Jennifer later served as a Sustainable Economics Intern at EDAW, where they conducted market analyses and collaborated on sustainable economics projects. Jennifer then joined Signature Community Investment Group as an Acquisitions & Finance Intern, where they underwrote properties and performed market research. Jennifer later joined Campus Apartments as an Investment Associate before finally joining Pacific Communities Builder as a Project Manager and eventually the Vice President.

Jennifer Chung has a strong educational background with degrees in both Urban Planning and Real Estate Development. Jennifer obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. Jennifer then went on to pursue two Master of Science degrees from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. From 2009 to 2011, they focused on Urban Planning, and from 2011 to 2012, they specialized in Real Estate Development.

In addition to their degrees, Jennifer Chung has also obtained additional certifications. Jennifer is a certified General Building Contractor (Class B) from the Contractors State License Board, which they obtained in March 2020.
