Laura Sudduth

Laura Sudduth, RN, BSHI has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Laura has held various roles in different organizations, focusing on IT enterprise applications, informatics, and clinical consulting. Most recently, they worked at Pacific Dental Services as Lead Analyst and previously as Sr. Analyst. Prior to that, they worked at TruTeam Staffing Advisors as a Sr. Epic Ambulatory Analyst. Laura also served as a Nurse Informaticist at Providence Health & Services and as a Sr. Epic Consultant at Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Epic Certified Clinical Applications Analyst at Novant Health, an Epic Certified Inpatient Clinical Documentation Consultant at Leidos and TEKsystems, and an Epic Certified Ambulatory Application Analyst at Baylor Scott & White Health. In addition, Laura has managerial experience as a Manager of Utilization Review and as a Team Lead in Utilization Review, both at Novant Health.

Laura Sudduth, RN, BSHI obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health Informatics from Western Governors University, completing their studies from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Dallas College, graduating in the years 1994 to 1997. Laura also holds various certifications, including Epic Cosmos, Epic Care Everywhere, EpicCare Wisdom, Epic Bones, EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Hospital Outpatient Departments, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation, CompTIA Project+, and multiple Registered Nurse certifications from different states. Their most recent certification is the Registered Nurse certification obtained from the Washington State Department of Health in April 2022.
