Echo Wood

Echo Wood is a Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and marine sectors. Currently employed at Pacific Fusion since June 2024, Echo previously worked at Zipline from June 2020 to June 2024, where responsibilities included leading the design of a delivery drone battery, focusing on mass, cost, performance, and safety features. Relevant experience also includes a role as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Zipline, where Echo developed a proof of concept for a new delivery system. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, a minor in Environmental Studies, and being a valedictorian at Friday Harbor High School. Echo's background encompasses various engineering roles during academic tenure, including leadership positions in university projects.
