Carmen Tovar

Carmen Tovar is a Community Program Specialist at the City of Long Beach since April 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Career Development Programs Contractor for the Bayha Group from November 2017 to April 2023 and as an Outreach and Strategic Partnerships Manager. Carmen's earlier roles include Program Manager at EXP and High School Intern Program Coordinator at the Port of Los Angeles. Additionally, a Program Coordinator position was held at the Wilmington Family YMCA from June 2005 to August 2013. Carmen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.
