Callum Murchan

Callum Murchan is a Pricing Actuary at Pacific Life Re, where responsibilities include longevity pricing, since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, serving as a Valuation Actuary and Senior Valuation Actuarial Analyst with a focus on Solvency II valuation from December 2021 to October 2023. Callum started the actuarial career as a Trainee Actuary at Irish Life from September 2019 to December 2021, specializing in pricing for reinsurance, and previously worked as an Actuarial Intern in Actuarial Operations at Irish Life from June 2017 to June 2018. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management from Queen's University Belfast, obtained in 2019, and a high school education completed at Abbey CBS Grammar School in 2015.
