Praveen Gurnani

Praveen Gurnani is a seasoned actuary specializing in longevity pricing, currently serving as a Longevity Pricing Actuary at Pacific Life Re since March 2020. Prior to this role, Praveen worked at Mercer in various capacities, including Senior Risk Transfer Analyst and Financial Strategy Analyst, where responsibilities included leading efforts on Mercer’s streamlined longevity swap solution and conducting calculations for retirement decision-making. Praveen began professional training as an Actuarial Trainee, focusing on pension scheme management. An early internship at Mercer allowed for practical experience in retirement calculations and project design. Praveen holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Warwick University and is a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with education completed at Aylesford School.
