Alec Nodgaard

Alec Nodgaard is a Senior Actuary at Pacific Life since June 2025, with extensive experience in the actuarial field. Prior to this, Alec worked at Ameritas from September 2012 to June 2025, holding various positions including Associate Actuary and Assistant Actuary, where responsibilities included evaluations of non-guaranteed elements for life and annuity products, compliance management with NY Regulation 210, and serving as a subject matter expert on acquired closed blocks. Earlier roles at Ameritas included Actuarial Associate, focusing on financial reinsurance and mergers and acquisitions, as well as an Actuarial Assistant where Alec improved model change control processes. Alec's career began with an internship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a claims internship at Woodmen of the World. Alec holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned in 2014.
