Michael Difley

Michael Difley, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Co-Head of Public Credit Analysis at Pacific Life since September 2011. In this role, Michael leads a team of analysts overseeing over $25 billion in corporate bond investments across various industries, including Basic Industries, Automotive, Aviation/Aerospace, and more. Prior to Pacific Life, Michael held the positions of Vice President and Portfolio Manager at American Century Investments from July 1996 to September 2010, where management of high yield bond portfolios led to significant performance recognition. Additional experience includes roles at Wells Fargo Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst and as a Senior Auditor at First Interstate Bank. Michael earned a BS in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
