Carlos Fernandez-Guzman

Carlos Fernandez-Guzman has over 40 years of work experience in the banking and finance industry. Carlos is currently the President & CEO and Board Member of Pacific National Bank, a privately held commercial bank serving South Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Before joining Pacific National Bank in 2010, Carlos held the position of Senior Executive Vice President at BankUnited from 2003 to 2010. Prior to that, they served as Executive Vice President & COO at XTec, Inc. from 1999 to 2003. Carlos also has experience as President & CEO of CTI from 1995 to 2001, and as SVP - Market Development at American Savings of Florida FSB from 1992 to 1995. Carlos was also President & CEO of Riverdale Investments/Riverdale Farms from 1989 to 1992. In addition, Carlos held the role of SVP Branch Administration/Marketing at Consolidated Banks, N.A. from 1979 to 1989, and was the National and Correspondent Accounts Manager at Southeast Bank, N.A., Southeast Services from 1974 to 1979.
