Cecilia Iliesiu

Cecilia Iliesiu has a diverse work experience in the field of ballet and dance. Cecilia started their career as a Soloist Dancer at Carolina Ballet from August 2009 to June 2015. During their time at Carolina Ballet, they also took on the role of Social Media Manager from September 2012 to September 2013. After that, they joined Pacific Northwest Ballet in August 2015 as a Principal Dancer. Cecilia also served as a Dancer Union Delegate - AGMA from September 2018 to September 2021 and as a Marketing Intern from January 2016 to July 2016 at Pacific Northwest Ballet. In March 2020, Cecilia became the Program Manager for Education & Engagement at Ballet Together until March 2021. Cecilia also co-founded and worked as the Director of Global Ballet Teachers from April 2021 onwards. Cecilia has additionally held roles such as Marketing Manager at Label Dancewear from August 2017 to January 2020, Project Manager & Copywriter at AIGA Seattle from May 2019 to September 2019, and Strategy Planner at Rauxa from June 2019 to August 2019. Currently, they are working as a Career Consultant & Founder at Ballet Life Coach from January 2022 and is also involved with Lean In Seattle as a Circle Leader since January 2018.

Cecilia Iliesiu completed their undergraduate education from 2010 to 2018 at Fordham University, where they pursued a degree in Communication and Media Studies. Prior to that, they attended the School of American Ballet from 1999 to 2009, focusing on ballet.
