Noel Pederson has a diverse work experience in marketing and media production. They started their career as an intern at CCTV in 2008. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an Assistant Producer for Irish Luck Productions, gaining experience in editing, production, and lighting. In 2010, Pederson joined Firewater Film Company as a Producer/Editor, assisting in various commercial and documentary projects. They also worked as an Assistant Editor at Sprout Films Inc. during this time, contributing to the organization and logistics of long-form documentary films and commercial productions. In 2011, Pederson became the Doc Shop Coordinator at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, responsible for arranging professional development workshops and funding pitch sessions. They also worked as the Events Coordinator for the International Wildlife Film Festival, organizing special events and workshops. In 2012, Pederson worked as the Local Marketing Coordinator for MCT, Inc., handling local marketing efforts and playbill graphic design. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Editor at NewsBeat Social, editing news stories and managing online news footage. Pederson then joined Village Theatre as a Marketing Associate from 2016 to 2019, taking on responsibilities such as playbill coordination, email marketing, graphic design, photography, videography, and motion graphics. Their most recent position is Director of Marketing at Pacific Northwest Ballet since 2019, where they coordinate marketing strategies, lead a team for public-facing email communications, and handle marketing direct mail communications.
Noel Pederson attended McMinnville High School from 2004 to 2005. Following high school, they pursued a B.A. degree in Radio and Television Production at the University of Montana from 2005 to 2009.
