Sarah Kolat

Sarah Kolat has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Sarah is currently working as an Executive Assistant to the Artistic Director at Pacific Northwest Ballet since 2021. Prior to that, they were associated with the University of Washington, where they held two different roles. From 2015 onwards, they worked as a Predoctoral Teaching Associate at the School of Music, teaching classes in Western music history, popular music, American musical theater, and music theory. Sarah was responsible for developing course syllabi, mentoring students, and grading research projects. In addition, they also served as a Program Operations Specialist at the Office of Educational Assessment from 2011 to 2015. In this role, they managed a program with over sixty exams and 40,000 students, and worked with highly classified materials while adhering to strict operating guidelines.

Sarah Kolat completed a Master's degree in Musicology at the University of Washington from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Musicology and American Studies at the same institution from 2015 to 2020.
