Adam Jivelekas

Adam Jivelekas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety engineering and management, currently serving as the Manager of Safety Engineering at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since March 2017. In this role, Adam oversees the deployment of multiple safety management programs and leads a team of safety engineers and professionals while chairing the PNNL Process Safety Board. Previous positions include Energy Storage System Safety Analysis Lead and Nuclear Safety Program Manager, where Adam contributed to safety analyses and compliance for high-stakes projects in the energy and nuclear sectors. Adam's background also includes roles at Washington River Protection Solutions, URS Corporation, CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company, Baker Furniture, and Honeywell Aerospace. Adam holds a Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
