Botao Hao

Botao Hao is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, focusing on visualizing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) crystals at the atomic level using 4D-STEM and exploring the impact of environmental factors on PVA crystallization. Concurrently, Botao serves as an Academic Mentor at Neoscholar Education Group, designing and delivering courses in materials, chemistry, energy, and academic English writing. Experience also includes a role as a Technology Investment Analyst at Huawei Technologies, conducting research on technological trends in the semiconductor and energy sectors. Botao previously worked as a Student Consultant at the University of Oxford, advising an art company, and held the position of Vice President of the Student Union at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, where significant events were organized. Botao holds a DPhil in Materials from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Advanced Materials Science from UCL, and a BEng in Polymer Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
