Yu Zhu

Yu (Rick) Zhu is an experienced professional in optimization and supply chain management, currently serving as Network Lead for Upstream & Fuels at ExxonMobil since November 2017, following roles as Principal Engineer and Advanced Logistics Optimization Engineer. Previous experience includes positions at TPC Group as Optimization Engineer and Planning Manager, where model development and production planning were key responsibilities. Yu’s earlier career features roles at Praxair, Modelon, and multiple internships that focused on advanced control and optimization techniques. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with a dual Bachelor's and Master's degree in Automation from Zhejiang University.
