David McKinnon

David McKinnon is a Senior Cyber Security Researcher at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, a position held since 2005. In addition to this role, McKinnon has been involved as a volunteer with FIRST and IEEE since 2006, serving as the past chair of the IEEE Richland Section. Contribution to education includes serving as a volunteer teacher for the Microsoft TEALS Program, teaching a high school cyber security class from August 2022 to June 2023, and working as an Adjunct Professor at Washington State University, teaching computer and network security courses from January 2005 to May 2014. McKinnon holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Washington State University, as well as an M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, respectively, from Brigham Young University.
