Hayden Reeve

Hayden Reeve is a Senior Technical Advisor at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) since December 2018, leading initiatives in grid interactive efficient buildings and transactive energy for the Department of Energy. Prior to PNNL, Hayden served as Associate Director at United Technologies Research Center from 2004 to November 2018, overseeing the Intelligent Building Operations technology portfolio, and also held the position of Research Engineer, focusing on energy optimized aircraft integrated analysis. Hayden's early career includes a role as a Research Assistant and Lecturer at the University of Washington, where a research program on polymer optical fiber and a Fluid Mechanics course were developed. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
