Leesa D. began their work experience in 1988 with the US Navy, where they held the position of Production/Maintenance/Access Control Manager until 1993. Leesa then joined B&W Pantex as a Production Technician, responsible for quality inspections and assembly processes. In 2000, they became a Production Section Manager at B&W Pantex, overseeing up to 100 union personnel and integrating new technologies for improved productivity. From 2005 to 2012, Leesa worked at B&W Technical Services Pantex as a Nonproliferation Program Manager-Scientist, leading technical projects and providing expertise for treaty agreements. In 2012, Leesa joined Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as the Natl Sec Specialist and Systems Integration Operationalization Team Lead. Currently, in 2023, they hold the role of Strategic Development Engineering Consultant, focused on facilitating humanistic developmental strategies.
Leesa D.'s education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Education- Human Services/Psychology from Wayland Baptist University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University, completing it from 2005 to 2008. Leesa continued their education at Capella University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from 2008 to 2016.
Recently, from 2018 to 2021, Leesa attended Colorado State University Global, where they obtained a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Management from Colorado State University Global.
Looking ahead, Leesa has enrolled in Colorado State University Global's program for a Master of Science degree in Project Management, which they are expected to complete from 2022 to 2024.
