Mary Ann Powell

Mary Ann Powell has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and organizations. Mary Ann began their career at Paramounts Great America as VP of Sales and Marketing from 1993 to 1997. Mary Ann then joined Paramount Parks as VP of Marketing until 1997. In 1997, they became the CEO of Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, a role they held until their retirement in 2012. Mary Ann continued their involvement in various organizations such as the Santa Monica Chamber, serving as a board member from 2000 to 2014. Powell also served as a board member for the Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau from 2002 to 2012. In 2010, they joined the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Southern California, a role they held until January 2019. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Monica History Museum from 2011 to 2018 and acted as the Secretary for the Santa Monica Convention and Visitor Bureau from 2005 to 2011.
