Kevin Dearing

Kevin Dearing has extensive experience in risk management and strategic planning roles within the banking industry. Kevin currently works as the 1st Vice President at Pacific Premier Bank, where they lead the enterprise risk management team and is responsible for risk assessments and control activities. Prior to this, they were the Director of Risk Management at Union Bank, where they led control assessments and strategic product initiatives. Kevin also held roles as the Director of Strategic Planning and Vice President, Division Risk Manager at Union Bank. Before joining Union Bank, they served as the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management & Audit at California Coast Credit Union, where they oversaw risk management, internal audit, and compliance functions. Earlier in their career, they held various senior positions at Bank of America, including Senior Vice President of Operational Risk Programs and Senior Vice President, overseeing operational aspects and leading risk review teams. Overall, Kevin has a strong background in risk management, control assessments, strategic planning, and operational oversight.

Kevin Dearing attended the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School, where they studied executive banking. Kevin later enrolled at San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in International Business and subsequently pursuing an MBA with a focus on IT, Entrepreneurship, and Management. Additionally, Kevin Dearing obtained certifications in CBA Executive Banking School from the Consumer Bankers Association and Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) from the Credit Union National Association. Kevin also holds a certification as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Bank of America.
