George Sargent

General Manager at Pacific Seafood

George Sargent has extensive experience in the seafood processing industry, currently serving as General Manager for the special project for processing at Pacific Seafood since September 2012, overseeing the development of a new shrimp plant as part of the R&D team. Previously, George held the position of General Manager at a processing plant specializing in frozen shrimp, whiting, and crab, and worked as Production Manager responsible for a production room focused on processing various fish species. Earlier in their career, George gained practical experience as a Deckhand on commercial fishing vessels owned by Perestroika Inc., starting with F/V Tatiana in 1995 and later on F/V Tanusha. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Economy and Communications from Western Washington University, completed in 2007.
