Laurie Mcconnell

Laurie McConnell currently serves as the Director of Community and Systems at Pacific Wild, where responsibilities include fundraising, donor stewardship, software system maintenance, risk management, and community building through a wolf-focused social network. McConnell played a key role in the organization’s growth through effective donor engagement, campaign development, and ecommerce initiatives. Prior to Pacific Wild, McConnell was the owner of Bigpacific Creative Digital Strategy & Web Design, establishing the first online destination portal for the Sunshine Coast of BC and overseeing all aspects of the business, including content creation and project management. McConnell holds a journalism certificate from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and two years of study in Creative Writing and Art History at Langara College.
