Mercedes Richardson

Mercedes Richardson has a long and varied work experience. Mercedes began their career in 2004 as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc., where they gained knowledge in sales and merchandising, coordinated floor designs and helped with new shipments every week, and trained over 10 employees in sales during their two-year tenure. In 2008, they moved to Mira Bella Salon and Spa as a Receptionist/Front Desk Manager, where they handled payroll using QuickBooks, helped to interview and train over 12 receptionists, provided customer service and sales in products the salon provides, and maintained spreadsheets for daily ledgers and employee time sheets. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at EvansHardy+Young, where they held the roles of Jr. Media Negotiator and Admin Assistant. Finally, they were Director of Sales Operations at Pacifica Beauty from 2016 onwards.

Mercedes Richardson attended Santa Barbara City College from 2007 to 2010, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Mercedes then attended UC Santa Barbara from 2010 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government.
