Ian Shelby

Ian Shelby is an accomplished Scada Engineer at PacifiCorp, responsible for integrating critical field data from substations and other grid devices as part of a significant modernization project involving around 600 field devices. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Open Systems International, where Ian worked on diverse projects to assist customers in upgrading and maintaining their EMS software. An earlier position as an Assistant Electrician at Michigan State University involved collaboration with electricians on remodeling efforts, focusing on power distribution and electrical safety. Additionally, Ian served as Chapter President for Sigma Pi Zeta Mu, effectively managing a 100-member chapter and overseeing budgetary responsibilities to resolve previous debts. Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Michigan State University, obtained in 2020.
