Scott Beyer

Scott Beyer has a diverse work experience in the power industry. Scott started their career in 2004 as a Substation Design Engineer at PacifiCorp and worked in this role until 2007. Scott then joined David Evans and Associates, Inc. as a Substation E.I.T. for a year. In 2008, they returned to PacifiCorp and held the position of Area Transmission Planner until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they served as the Director of Transmission Planning at PacifiCorp. In 2021, they joined Northwest Power Pool as a Lead Engineer and remained in this role until 2023. Currently, Scott Beyer is the Director of Transmission Expansion Planning at PacifiCorp.

Scott Beyer received a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University from 2000 to 2004.
