David Cochran has a diverse work experience in IT project management. David started their career at Sea-Land Service, Inc. as an IT Project Manager, where they managed large global systems projects and staff. David then moved on to Maersk as an IT Product/Project Manager, where they continued to oversee IT projects. After that, they joined IBM as an IT Project Manager before joining INTTRA as a Program-Project Manager, where they managed the PMO and a team of project managers. David then had a long tenure at Johnson & Johnson, where they served as a Senior IT Manager/Product Line Owner, managing enterprise business solutions and leading teams for development and support. David later became an IT Program Manager at Pacira BioSciences, Inc., where they successfully managed large ERP replacement programs and directed regulatory compliance. Most recently, David worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager before returning to Pacira BioSciences, Inc. as a Director of IT Project Management.
David Cochran obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from Virginia Tech. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2007, and they also acquired the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the same institution in January 2020. David has expressed intent to obtain the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level and the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification from Microsoft, but the specific months and years of acquisition are unknown.
