Ayal Weissman

Ayal Weissman has a wide range of experience in algorithms and data science. Ayal began their career at Ariel University, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant from 2008 to 2010. Ayal then joined Ariel - University R&D Company Ltd., where they worked as a Software Developer & Research Assistant, developing and implementing rocket artillery simulations and modeling algorithms for TOF cameras.

In 2010, Ayal moved on to Schema, a company focused on cellular network optimization. There, they worked as an Algorithms Engineer, implementing optimization algorithms and analysis modules using Java, Python, and SQL until 2012.

From 2012 to 2017, Ayal worked at TEOCO as a Senior Algorithms Engineer. Ayal was responsible for combining deep learning, geoinformatics, and predictive analytics to develop machine learning and algorithmic modules from scratch.

In 2017, Ayal joined PACKAGE.AI as a Senior Algorithms Engineer and later became the Head of Algorithms in July 2020. In this role, they led R&D efforts in algorithms and data science, working on a variety of real-world challenges from proof of concept to production.

Ayal Weissman completed a B.Sc in Computer Science & Mathematics at Ariel University from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued an M.Sc in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence & Computational Geometry at Bar-Ilan University from 2010 to 2012.
