Ellis Cunningham is the Vice President and General Counsel at Packaging Corporation of America, a position held since June 2011, after serving as Attorney and Assistant General Counsel. In this role, Ellis provides in-house legal counsel for one of the largest producers of containerboard and corrugated packaging products in the United States, specializing in areas such as manufacturing, procurement, finance, litigation, antitrust, training, insurance, tax, contracts, and sales and marketing. Prior to this, Ellis gained experience as a Law Clerk at the Oregon Department of Justice from May 2009 to January 2010. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Willamette University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
