Rodney Allison has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Rodney began their career as a Process Control Engineer Intern at Champion International Corp in 1991, and later worked as a Process Control Engineer from 1992 to 1995. Rodney then joined SP Newsprint Co. as a Controls and Project Engineer, where they worked from 1995 to 1999. At SP Newsprint Co., they also served as a PM2 Efficiency Improvement Team Leader and as a Paper Machine #2 Manager.

In 2005, Rodney joined Tolleson Land Investment Properties as a Land Trader, where they successfully managed the purchase and sale of large rural tracts of land and developed marketing strategies. Rodney later became the Owner of Landvest LLC in 2008 before transitioning to Southern Nuclear Company as a Senior Engineer in 2010.

In 2011, Rodney joined Voith Fabrics & Roll Systems, Inc. where they held various roles including Forming & Paper Process Specialist, MidSouth Sales Team Leader, and Sales Team Manager - Southeast Region. During their time at Voith Fabrics, Rodney played a crucial role in managing the company's sales team and driving business growth.

Most recently, Rodney has been working at Packaging Corporation of America as the Director of Papermaking Technology since 2018. Overall, Rodney's work experience showcases their expertise in engineering, project management, sales, and leadership roles across different industries.

Rodney Allison obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University in the period between 1987 and 1991. Rodney then pursued further education in the same field at the University of Florida from 1994 to 1995. Prior to their university studies, they attended Brentwood High School from 1983 to 1987.
