John Yi

John Yi has significant work experience dating back to 1998. John started their career as an Associate Engineer at Sony Electronics and moved on to work as an Applications Engineer at National Semiconductor. John then worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Staccato Communications, where they led a team to architect, develop, and deliver a SDK to enable SK Telecom mobile UWB vision. John then joined Linkup Networks as a Software Engineering Contractor, where they developed wireless applications on various 32-bit MCUs. Later, they worked as a Sr. Staff Software at Entropic Communications, where they led the architecture and implementation of the MoCA 2.0 MAC management entity. John also worked as a Co-Founder at Gryphon Online Safety, Inc. Additionally, they worked at ARM (acquired Wicentric, Inc.) as a Director Of Software from 2013 to 2019, where they drove product strategy and roadmap and managed the product lifecycle. Currently, they are the CEO and Founder of Packetcraft, Inc.

John Yi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, studying from 1992 to 1998.
