Huy Hoang Nguyen

Huy Hoang Nguyen, PhD, is an experienced Data Scientist currently engaged with Baptist Health, specializing in Decision Science and Advanced Analytics since November 2022. Huy serves as the Head Learning Facilitator and previously as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for graduate-level Machine Learning courses at The University of Texas at Austin. Huy is also a technical reviewer for Packt and Cambridge University Press & Assessment and has authored a book titled "Building Statistical Models in Python." With a strong academic background, Huy has held professorships at North American University and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and has contributed as a Principal Scientist at CNRS. Huy holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Pau and Adour Countries and two Master of Science degrees in Computer Science and Data Science.
