Prathiksha Singh

Prathiksha Singh has a diverse work experience starting from 2014. Prathiksha began their career as an Engineering Trainee at Trans-Africa Projects in December 2014. Following that, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Master Maths from April to October 2015.

In 2019, they joined F-Secure Corporation as an Information Security Consultant. Prathiksha held this role for a year and a half, until August 2020.

From August 2020 to April 2021, Prathiksha worked as a Data Engineer at Nedbank. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the field.

Next, they joined SweepSouth in April 2021 as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Prathiksha held this position for a year and left in August 2022.

Currently, Prathiksha is working at Pacmed, where they hold the role of a Data Engineer. Prathiksha started this position in September 2022 and is still currently employed.

Prathiksha Singh completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc. Hons) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2018. Prathiksha then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning and Image Processing from the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Prathiksha Singh has also obtained several certifications. Prathiksha completed several courses on LinkedIn, including "Apache Spark Essential Training," "Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) Cert Prep: 1 Design and Implement Data Storage," "Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) Cert Prep: 2 Design and Develop Data Processing," "Azure Spark Databricks Essential Training," "Building Deep Learning Applications with Keras 2.0," "Deep Learning: Face Recognition," "Deep Learning: Image Recognition," and "Training Neural Networks in Python." Prathiksha obtained these certifications in August and September of 2022.

Furthermore, Prathiksha Singh completed the course "Learning Cloud Computing: Cloud Storage" from Lynda.com in October 2018. Prathiksha also earned the certification "Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020. Additionally, in October 2018, they completed the course "Building a Website with Node.js and Express.js" from Lynda.com.
