Rabiya Akhtar

Rabiya Akhtar is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Finance (CFO) at Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) since January 2025, Rabiya previously held the position of Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at the University Settlement Society of New York from August 2021 to January 2025. Prior to that, Rabiya was the Chief Financial Officer at Homes for the Homeless from April 2017 to January 2021. Additional experience includes roles as VP of Product Accounting at EnTrustPermal and Senior Fund Accountant/AVP at Permal Asset Management. Rabiya began a career at PwC as an Associate and gained foundational experience as a Financial Services Intern at Citigroup. Rabiya earned a BS in Accounting from Manhattan University and completed earlier education at Williston Northampton School and SAIS-R.
