Nick Curran has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nick has worked in various finance-related roles for different companies. Nick started their career as an Accountant/Auditor at Blinkhorns Business and Taxation Advisors and later moved to Edward Robinson & Co in a similar role. Nick then joined Carphone Warehouse where they worked as a UK Financial Accountant, Geek Squad Management Accountant, Group Purchasing Accountant, and Cellular Finance Analyst. Following this, Nick worked as a Management Accountant at Starbucks. Nick then joined Thomson Reuters as a Finance Manager, first in the Global Sales Specialists team and later in the Go To Market team. Nick also worked as a Finance Manager (Interim) at Street Feast, Financial Controller (Interim) at Grind & Co., and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (Interim) at Soho House & Co. Their most recent position was as the Finance Director at Pact Coffee. Throughout their career, Nick has gained experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and has worked closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
Nick Curran attended ACCA until 2008, however, no degree or field of study is specified. From 1999 to 2002, they studied Economics and obtained a BA (Hons) degree from Liverpool John Moores University. In terms of additional certifications, they became Xero Certified in 2015 from Xero and obtained the Prince 2 Practitioner certification in 2014 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
