Nate Carbrey

Nate Carbrey, MBA, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nate currently holds the position of VP, Global Corporate Controller at Paddle since January 2024. Prior to this, they served as the Global Corporate Controller for Paddle from August 2023 to December 2023. Nate also worked as a Graduate Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York from August 2022 to December 2023. Before joining Paddle, they worked as the Sr. Director, Controller at Tackle.io from May 2022 to August 2023. Nate has also held various positions at ACV Auctions, including Director, Accounting Policy & Special Projects from March 2021 to May 2022, Associate Director, Accounting Policy & Special Projects from May 2020 to March 2021, and Senior Manager, Accounting Policy & Special Projects from January 2019 to May 2020. Nate founded Carbrey Financial Consulting Services in September 2009 and served as the Fractional CFO until August 2020. Nate started their career at PwC, where they worked as an Assurance Manager, Financial Services from July 2018 to January 2019, Assurance Senior Associate from July 2015 to June 2018, and Assurance Associate from August 2012 to June 2015.

Nate Carbrey, MBA, CPA completed their education at the University at Buffalo, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. Nate also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the AICPA in 2013.
