Matt Heitmeier

Matt Heitmeier has a strong work experience in the recycling industry. Matt started their career as a Trader at PADNOS - Recycling Solutions in 1991 and then worked as the Director of Non-Ferrous Metals and International Trade from 2000 to 2015. Matt later served as the Vice President of Metals from 2015 to 2019 and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at the same company.

In addition to their work at PADNOS, Matt has also been involved with the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI) since 2008. Matt has held various roles within the organization, including Member of the Trade Committee, Chairman of the Non-Ferrous Division, and Director of the Board of Directors.

Outside of the recycling industry, Matt has served as a Board Member at the John Ball Zoo since 2012.

Matt Heitmeier holds a Bachelor's Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids. Matt also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business.
