Ajay Gupta

Ajay Gupta is an accomplished executive and mentor with extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Partner and Expert Mentor at PadUp Ventures since June 2025 and as a Board Observer at Staqu Technologies, Ajay also holds a long-term membership with the Indian Angel Network. Earlier career highlights include a VP and Head of Strategy role at Ericsson from December 2010 to June 2025, where Ajay led significant strategic initiatives across South and Southeast Asia. Prior positions encompassed senior management roles in high-growth environments, including Hughes Software Systems and Sasken Communication Technologies, where Ajay substantially scaled operations and revenue. Educational credentials feature an Executive Business and Strategy degree from Stanford University and additional studies in marketing strategy at Columbia Business School and Kellogg School of Management.
